How to take care of your flowers? Well, it depends on the arrangement type, you can find below a short description of flower arrangement types and the ideal way to take care of your flowers to make them last longer.
Different types of arrangement
Flower Bouquet. Fresh flower bouquets that are either wrapped with plastic or paper.
Flower Arrangement. Flower arrangement that usually comes in a round box, or any arrangement that is done in floral foam. The care tips for this type of flower arrangement defers from long stems to short stems.
Flower in a Vase. Just like it sounds, these are flower arrangements that come in a vase filled with water.
Orchid Flowers. Delicate type of flowers that require special care and nurturing.
Flower Bouquet Care Instructions

Carefully un-wrap the protective plastic liner from around your bouquet.

Strip excess foliage off of stems that will fall below the water level.

Cut at an angle 1 inch off of stems.

Fill vase with fresh room temperature water.

Repeat step 3 & 4 every 3 days.

Flower Arrangement Care Instructions
Depending on the length of flower stems received, do the following:

Short stems
- Don’t remove flower stems from foam.
- Add fresh room temperature water every 2-3 days, or spray flowers with fresh water every day.

Long stems
- Remove flowers from the foam.
- Cut at an angle 1 inch off of stems.
- Put in a vase and fill with fresh room temperature water.
- Repeat step 2 & 3 every 3 days.

Flower in a Vase
After 2-3 days from receiving the flowers:
1. Cut about 1 inch off of stems at an angle.
2. Add fresh room temperature water every 2-3 days.
3. Check for dead or wilting leaves and stems, and remove them immediately.
4. Repeat step 1 & 2 every 3 days.

Orchid Flowers Care
- Place in a mild and somewhat humid environment.
- Keep in a sunny place, but avoid strong direct sunlight.
- Use fresh water, and water once a week.
